PerformanceHub’s Personal Development Plans (PDPs) have just had their biggest upgrade ever. We’ve completely reimagined how people record and manage their learning – making PDPs more flexible, insightful, and genuinely useful for employees, managers, and HR teams alike.
From “targets” to real learning
Old-style PDPs revolved around Development Targets – useful, but limited. The new PDPs focus instead on Learning Activities: the specific, practical things people actually do to build skills, gain knowledge, or strengthen how they work.

Development Targets still exist, but now they act as the “why” behind development — helping to group related learning activities and capture longer-term goals.

Each learning activity can now capture richer information – from progress updates to reflections and outcomes. HR teams can even choose what data to collect, such as:
• Evidence of learning
• Learning outcomes
• Reflections on applying new skills
• Manager reviews or comments

We’ve refreshed the PDP interface to make it clearer and easier to use, whether you’re adding a quick new activity or reviewing progress. New tabs let you view all Activities, Targets, or your complete Learning Log at a glance.
